TGIF & Book Blog Hop

It's TGIF at GReads and this weeks question is....

Taking it Personal: Which books have effected you on a personal level and lingered in your mind long after you closed the pages?

This is such a difficult question to answer, because there are so many answers. I've had a lot of books effect me in different ways and a lot that stayed in mind for a long time. I guess a few would be The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath, The Harry Potter Series, Anne of Green Gables by Lucy Maud Montgomery and Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë. I just love all of those books and they all hold a special meaning for me. The Bell Jar is funny because I still like the book, but it isn't as important to me as it once was. Though every once in a while (and funnily enough yesterday) I'll quote the beginning of the book in my head. For some reason that always stuck with me. And every time I read the book I want to eat caviar. The Harry Potter Series because it was epic. Obviously! Anne of Green Gables was one of the first chapter books I ever owned besides Black Beauty and I've always been obsessed with Avonlea. I watched the series Road to Avonlea and read every single book. I just love everything about it and I still have a silly little dream to visit Prince Edward Island someday. We'll see! Jane Eyre is just good.
